Before sampling three wood, I was a big fan of Auchentoshan American Oak. It was my go to single malt. I still enjoy it. Well, now I’m also hooked on 3 Wood. It’s a bit more pricey but worth it to me. I get notes of Citrus and vanilla with a taste of dark chocolate, vanilla and citrus. It’s very smooth with a honey finish. 3 Wood is something I can sip and savor quite often.
