This opaque garnet to purple colored wine has a full body and a long finish. In the nose I get red fruit, oak, and chocolate. In the mouth I get woody, plum, raspberry, and chocolate. It paired with ribeye steak bringing out the fruit. Chimicurri on baguette worked nicely. Manchego was the best pairing, and chocolate cake was nice. The flavors are integrated, but it was not as complex as I was hoping at this price point ($50). Good typicity and concentration.
